Can you remember a pre-COVID world? Here at Frankly Irresistible, we are a pretty upbeat and positive bunch, but even we are slightly perturbed by the prospect of another six months of being in and out of lockdown.
It’s so disconcerting not being in control of when we can go out, where to, and who we can be in contact with. But hey, we’ve all got to do our best to comply with the guidelines and curb the spread of the virus.
But what about you? How are you feeling?
Life before COVID was pretty great in many respects. Sure, there were things that could do with some attention - the environment being the major one - but the whole world was thriving. The economy was booming. City centres were bustling. Bars, restaurants and workplaces were packed and lively.
And now we’re isolated from a lot of the things that made our society tick.
Contact, especially physical contact, with others, such as hugging or handholding help to release oxytocin and dopamine, reducing stress hormones such as cortisol and norepinephrine.
So, it follows that if contact with others is greatly reduced during lockdown, we probably aren’t feeling our best.
Whilst cortisol can produce an immune response, chronic elevations of this hormone can compromise your immune system and make it harder for you to fight off infections and diseases.
Everything in the physical world vibrates at a frequency. Even seemingly solid objects like rocks or a piece of metal are constantly in motion at the sub-atomic level.
Similarly, the human body is constantly vibrating and has its own basal frequency. If the frequency is raised, we feel lighter and if we have a low frequency, we feel heavier.
Being with people and being social certainly help. Love and gratitude, being positive, being enthusiastic are great ways to raise your frequency. It might not be a huge leap to conclude that during lockdown, it could be more of a challenge to raise your frequency.
On top of this, studies suggest that our intake of junk and processed foods increases significantly during lockdown as does our consumption of alcohol. All of these factors can have a detrimental effect on our health and immune response.
So, what can we do to mitigate our risks of becoming ill whilst at the same time boosting our energy and looking after our general health?
We need to make some simple changes that will pay dividends. Cutting out excessive sugar, alcohol and processed foods would be a good place to start.
Over consumption of sugary drinks is endemic in our society and can contribute to weight and diet related problems such as obesity and diabetes.
Historically, people have relied on energy drinks and sugary snacks to give them a quick energy boost, but the effect is counterproductive.
I would recommend trying something much more natural, without the inevitable sugar crash.
Our Frankincense Tonic Water is a powerful pick-me-up that provides a variety of health benefits. It repairs, revitalises, rejuvenates and recuperates many aspects of your body’s structures. It helps to repair tissue damage and relieves joint pain. It is clinically tested and provides a natural energy boost.
It is made using alkaline water. This is important because we need to make sure we have the right balance of acid and alkaline in the body.
I like to think of them as feeders and suckers. Acids are suckers and alkalines are feeders. Alkalines feed your cells, supporting the transportation of nourishment and effective waste removal.
Acidic suckers reduce the efficiency of healthy cells, leading them to become rigid, blocking nutrients, insulins, steroids and hormones from entering. This can lead to a build-up of free radicals, bacteria and oxidisation, leaving us feeling sluggish, tired, heavy and it also speeds up the ageing process. Acidic build-up can lead to conditions such as diabetes and arthritis.
So, this is why we only use alkaline water for our Frankincense Tonic Water.
Frankincense is a sacred resin that has been lauded throughout history across many societies. They can’t all be wrong! We only use the best quality Frankincense, sourced from the Dhofar Mountains in Oman.
I have been drinking Frankincense Tonic Water for 6 years and have not been ill once in that time. The magnesium helps to support veins which is vital in preventing aneurisms; it has natural antioxidant properties and helps to ward off sickness and disease.
Frankincense has also been used by my clients to treat COPD, alleviate asthma symptoms, and clear sinuses. The zinc it contains helps support the immune system as does the potassium and many other beneficial properties.

If you want to boost your immune function, have more energy and improve your general health, our Frankincense Tonic Water is not a bad place to start.
